IT Tralee held their annual International Day on Wednesday, 14th November 2018, on Campus. The international students from all over the globe celebrated the fantastic diversity in the Institute with students from Kuwait, Nigeria, Finland, Czech Republic, United Arab Emirates, China, India, Korea, Oman, Finland, Ireland, Malaysia and Saudi Arabia hosting information stands about their home countries.
Samples of local delicacies and sweet treats were shared, along with conversations and examples of international cultures including a traditional Bedouin Tent from Saudi Arabia and dancing with traditional drumming from Nigeria.
International Manager at the IT Tralee Eddie Scully said, “IT Tralee continues to be a very popular destination for overseas students with 70 different nationalities and over 450 international students choosing to study with us. Our annual International Day is always a cause for celebration with many staff and students actively looking forward to taking part.”
